What should be the settings on a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 be on?

All of a sudden my camera started to take very poor quality pictures, it looks extremely low resolution, and you can even see all of the squares that make up the picture. Please help me!

Set it to full automatic. If there is an ISO setting, put it to 100. If there is a white balance setting, put it to auto. Read the manual to locate all of these.

Then, remember to shoot only under brightly lighted conditions. When shooting outdoors in full sunlight, position your subjects in the shade where lots of bouncing light hits them. If you shoot indoors with a few lamps, use the flash. If the flash is too strong, cover it with a handkerchief.

There are two important things to remember when taking pictures, it requires lots of light and the camera is not as sensitive as your eyes.

sounds like someone touched something…. make it easy on yourself …..pull your card out restore your settings…. under your setting menu goto restore… and it will restore back to factory settings….
