On a Sony Cyber-Shot, is it possible to take a pic with only 1 color showing up and the rest black and white?

Is it possible to take a picture where only one color is showing, such as blue, and everything that isn’t blue with be black and white? I know it’s possible on some cameras, but is it on a Sony Cyber-Shot and how?
without editing the picture?

not that I know of, you have to take a picture and then manipulate it in a photo editing program to get that effect

Yes it is but I’d have to go threw my camera and figure it out (I just got the camera)

yes… im not so sure about the camera itself, but i know theres a program that you can buy or dwnld that has all kinds of special effects like that

  4. Lindsay says:

I’m not sure but if it doesn’t, you can always download Picasa and use the focal black and white edit.

    i don’t know.
but you can try picnik.com and if you go to the black and white effect, you can click on the paintbrush and fix your image.

The only camera I’ve heard of with that effect is the Canon Powershot S3. Don’t believe me? Read my source, it’s the near the bottom of the review you’ll see a demonstration.

But no, I do not believe that any Cybershot is capable of taking selective colour images. Anyway, the whole thing has truly been done to death. And, uh, you’ll probably have to mention the model, as Cybershot is just the blanket term for Sony point and shoots.

Anyway, selective colour has been done to death.

  7. What? says:

There are some Sony Cyber-shot cameras with the selective color effect (applied after a picture is taken), but not all of them have it. Check your manual or let us know what model you have to find out.

Also, as implied, the Canon PowerShot S3 IS is not the only digital camera with in-camera selective coloring. Canon’s “Color Accent” effect is prevalent in its PowerShot series.
