The downside of incamera IS is that it works better with wideangle lenses than with tele lenses with telelenses the camera shake is amplified by the lens, so the camera has quite challenge to compensate for it. Im sure the Pentax is fine camera, but being disappointed that the Nikon didnt do better here. The bride will not mind being just little soft. So fast lens and the best high ISO performance can are important, IS is secondary, but ubiquitous enough that wouldnt live without it..
