I have a Flip Ultra Cam Corder, and made a 30 min video and burned it to a Blank DVD CD and when I play it on my DVD player, it says unknown. How does everyone else make a movie and burn it to a CD and watch it on tv?
Thank You!

Okay. First, when you plug in your camera open the Flip Video Program on your computer like usual. Then, Click on the video you want to put on the DVD disk. After you clicked it, go to the top and Click “File”, then click “Export To…” Then a pop up will ask you if you want to Export or not, click “Export”. After you do that, a bunch of files will pop up like My Desktop, My Documents, etc. Click on “My Documents”. Then it will open more files. Click “My Videos”, and a file called either FlipShare Data, or Flip Video Library, or something that has to do with Flip Video or FlipShare. Click on that. Then, even more files will pop up. Select the one that says “Videos” and then click “Ok”. After that, if you have it, you want to open Windows Movie Maker. From there, click “File” and then click “Open Project”. After you click “Open Project”, the files will pop up again. Click “My Documents”, then “My Videos”, then Flip Video Data or whatever Flip file it was, then click Videos and your video will be there. Click on it, and then click “Open”. After that, the video will open in segments. If you go to the bottom there is a timeline or a storyboard. Drag the segments of your video in order into the segments. After that, you can watch your video just to make sure that it is right. When you are done, there is a toolbar on the left where you can choose to add titles or sounds, etc. But below those, there is a thing that says Save to Computer. When it is done saving (this may take a while to save), make sure the blank disc is in your computer. If it is, when it is all done saving, it will ask you if you want to Burn to Disk. Click yes and follow the steps from there. When it is done burning, just click “Ok” or “Finish”, and you can put it into your DVD player.
Sorry to throw so much info at you at once, but this is really the easiest way to do it.
If your computer doesn’t have Windows Movie Maker, go to a computer that does.
This is the easiest way.
Hope it works for you!
