How do I find accessories for my Casio Exilim FH-20?

I had the good fortune of picking up a very cheap Casio Exilim FH-20 today. The catch was that it was a floor model with NOTHING included. I need everything (lens cap, cap holder, strap, etc) – most especially the USB cable.

As I look around on the internet, I’m not finding what I need – not even from the casio site itself.

Where can I get what I need?

I don’t see why you would have too much trouble finding things for your camera.

And you certainly don’t need to buy Casio branded accessories. A generic neck strap and lens cap can be bought at any camera store. And a USB cable can be bought at any place that sells electronics or cameras. Take your camera with you, so you get the correct diameter lens cap and compatible USB cable. If you have trouble finding something suitable, then they should be able to help you find it.

However, you don’t REALLY need a USB cable because you can use a USB 2.0 card reader instead. The good thing about a card reader is that it allows much faster file transferral than a USB cable and also, there’s no software required.

You will also need a high speed memory card (2 – 4GB or more, at the very least) because your camera records video in high definition (HD), so you will want a fast card. I recommend Sandisk Extreme III SD or SDHC. Every minute of HD movie requires 225mb. Make sure you format your brand new memory card before you use it and everytime you want to delete all files from it.

Your camera also has the ability to shoot in RAW (each file size is approx. 19mb) so, if you ever decide to use it (which is good, because it’s a non lossy file type and it gives you much more control in post processing)…using a high speed card will be of benefit.

And, don’t forget the batteries. Your camera uses 4 AA batteries, so for good power you will want to get rechargeable NiMH (high capacity, 2500-3000mAh) and a charger.

If you don’t have the User Manual, you can download it in the link below…
just click on Digital Cameras and “I agree” and go from there http://www.casio.com/support/manuals/

    good luck…
